The Government of Pakistan (Human Resource Department) has announced many new jobs/ vacancies at Grand Asian University Sialkot (GAUS) as Voice Chancellor, Pro Vice Chancellor, Registrar, Deputy Registrar,  Director/ Deputy Director Academics, and QEC, Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Lecturer. This advertisement is published in the newspaper daily Jang Lahore on dated 12 February 2023.

The last date for submission of the online application is 28 February 2023.

Voice Chancellor:

  • Desired candidates must have earned a Ph.D. degree in any academic discipline of relevance.
  • Desired candidates must have at least 115 years of teaching/ research experience in the relevant field.
  • Possess a distinguished reputation as an academician and researcher.
  • Desired candidates have an in-depth knowledge of major developments in higher education nationally and internationally.
  • The desired candidate has the capability and ability to create linkages and networks.
  • Vast experience in resource mobilization and financial management.
  • Leadership qualities for policy making in terms of University affairs.


  • Distinguished and dynamic personality who has diversified experience in any Higher Education Institution with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the relevant field.
  • Should have earned a doctorate in any academic discipline of relevance.
  • Have academic administrative leadership skills with strategic planning.
  • Able to grow the institution’s networking and take policy decisions.
  • Set corporate goals and maintain relationships with all department heads/ deans.
  • Lead the creation, implementation, and compliance with University’s strategic and policy framework.


  • Distinguished & dynamic personality holding Ph.D./ Master Degree from HEC Recognized University with 10 to 15 years of experience in a similar post in a well-reputed institution.
  • Supervise all procedures related to student records and registration, including maintenance of all current and historical student records and course offerings.
  • Uphold the integrity of academic programs and capable of creating a sustainable method of providing support to a diverse and growing academic community.
  • Support the acquisition, implementation, and maximization of systems, tools, and technology designed to secure the university’s preferred enrollment future.
  • Ensure compliance with all rules and regulations for enrollment procedures and management as required by HEC, PEC, and other local regulatory and accreditation bodies as applicable to the institution.
  • Arrangement and Compilation of agenda for the meeting of the Board of Governors (BOG), Board of Advanced Studies & Research (BASR), Academic Council, and other Statutory Bodies as per its Act.


  • The candidate must hold a Ph.D./Ph.D.ster’s Degree from HEC Recognized University.
  • The candidate must have a minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar post in a wea ll reputed institution.
  • The candidates must have experience in academics, curriculum development, and its implementation.
  • The candidate must b capable to develop and monitor the University’s academic calendar.
  • The candidate must assist in devethe lopment of educational policies about students and academics.
  • Advise and lead the preparation of class schedules for approval by the respective Deans.
  • Ensure the accuracy of the curriculum in catalogs, websites, and other communication vehicles.


  • The candidate must hold a Ph.D./ Master’s Degree from HEC Recognized University.
  • The candidate must have minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar post in a well-reputed institution.
  • Focus on quality assurance and quality enhancement through a systematic and unified approach to ensure Quality Standards and also be responsible to liaise with regulatory bodies including HEC and other national and international accreditation bodies.
  • Review of academic affiliations with other institutions in terms of effective management of standards and quality of programs.
  • Develop quality assurance processes and methods of evaluation to affirm that the quality of provision and the standard of awards are being maintained and to foster curriculum, subject, and staff development, together with research and other scholarly activities.
  • To cater for the ever-increasing competition, demands of regulators, councils & rating agencies, etc., economic pressures, and social expectations.
