What is ICTP (Islamabad Capital Territory Police)?
The Islamabad Capital Territory Police (ICTP) is the law enforcement agency responsible for maintaining law and order, preventing and detecting crime, and protecting life and property in the Islamabad Capital Territory of Pakistan. The ICTP is headed by a senior police officer known as the Inspector General of Police (IGP) and works in collaboration with other law enforcement agencies in Pakistan to ensure the security and safety of the citizens of the Islamabad Capital Territory. The ICTP is responsible for the overall administration of police units and the deployment of personnel in the Islamabad Capital Territory, and works to ensure that the law is enforced fairly and justly.
