The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) is launching a new service called (Tasdeeq) to verify the identities of elderly individuals whose fingerprints are no longer recognized by biometric scanners.
“Ijazat App Ki” Service by NADRA:
The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has launched a new quick and advanced Service named “Ijazat App Ki” for securing citizens’ personal information which nobody can verify/ approach your personal details without your permission.
Using this Service ” Ijazat App ki” now every citizen of Pakistan can register their mobile phone number with their personal CNIC number and get a pin code for verification from NADRA that will be used to verify their details. Service providers, including banks, will now have to seek permission from the citizen of Pakistan through a pin code before getting access to the citizen’s personal information.
No one should share their personal pin code/ Passcode with other people, it is the most secret code.
How to register Mobile Number with CNIC by Ejazat AAP KI?
Every Citizen can register their mobile number with their CNIC by sending the 13 digits (00000-0000000-0) of the ID/ CNIC number to 8009 Service and getting a passcode in the response from NADRA.
NADRA’S most important effort is that NADRA has begun working for the disabled, Shemale, and People of minority religions who are present inside Pakistan So that they can also reveal their identity and make their identity cards.

How many Steps do to make any Card/ CRC/ Form-B/ FRC etc. in NADRA Registration Center (NRC)
- You will undergo the following steps at NRC for processing of your application:
- You will be issued a token
- Your photograph will be captured
- Your fingerprints and signature will be taken
- Your required data entry will be done and the form will be printed to be reviewed by you
- You will be handed over a printed version of your application form
- Submit this form after confirming the printed information and attestation by a gazetted officer
- Bring any of your blood relatives (father/mother/brother/sister/son/daughter) and skip the attestation of the form by providing their biometrics at NRC.
Please note that the processing time of your application starts after the submission of your attested form. Only working days will be counted.
National Identity Card (NIC)
National Identity Card (NIC) is issued to the citizens of Pakistan. The unique 13-digit (00000-0000000-0) number is recognized all over the country (Pakistan). Every citizen of Pakistan (18 years and above) is eligible for NIC. It is the first and necessary requirement of individuals as it is mandatory to obtain documents like a license, NTN, bank account, passport, Health Card, BISP Card, Jobs in the Government and Private Sectors, a cellular connection, etc.
National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP)
National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) is a registration document issued to an eligible citizen of Pakistan who lives or has references abroad.
Any citizen of Pakistan can apply for NICOP and can travel to Pakistan without requiring a visa in case of dual nationality. Please note that a Passport number is a mandatory pre-requisite in case of applying for NICOP of newborn babies if they are born abroad.
Child Registration Certificate (CRC/ B-form)
A child Registration Certificate (CRC/ B-form) is a registration document used to register minors under the age of 18 years. It is the fundamental right of a child to get a registration certificate from the place of origin. CRC is also known as B-form. CRC (B-form) can be taken by providing documented proof of childbirth from the union council. Father/ Mother only One person from Parent is required to be a holder of a National Identity Card (NIC).
Family Registration Certificate (FRC)
A family Registration Certificate (FRC) is a means of being identified with your NADRA record. This provides the family composition. Please note that the Family Registration Certificate (FRC) helps in Embassy use mostly but cannot be used for any legal requirement.
You can apply for FRC in the following three categories:
By Birth –List your family including the details of your parents and siblings.
By Marriage –List your family including the details of your spouse and children.
By Adoption –List your family including the details of your guardian.
Cancellation Certificate
A cancellation certificate is a termination of an ID card in case of the death of any citizen. Father/ Mother/ Brother/ Sister/Son or Daughter any blood relative possessing a valid NIC/NICOP, death certificate from the union council, can apply for the cancellation. The applicant is required to visit any NADRA Registration Center (NRC) to apply for a cancellation certificate. It will be delivered in real-time in case of applying through NRC.
Juvenile Card (JV)
A juvenile card is an identity card issued to children under the age of 18 years. it is an “entitled document” with multiple facilities. The child’s parent or blood relative is physically present for providing the biometrics with their valid National Identity Card (NIC).
How to Find NADRA CNIC Tracking ID
NADRA has launched the SMS-based service for CNIC Status Check. You can check your CNIC status via SMS. When a citizen applies for a new CNIC/ CRC/ NICOP/ JV in NADRA. NADRA issues a token number with Tracking ID mentioned.
You can collect your CNIC after checking your CNIC online Status through Online Tracking with a Mobile Text on 8400. Remember the SMS charges i.e. 2 PKR+ Tax are deducted when you SMS your NADRA tracking ID to 8400 because it is not free SMS.
- Open your mobile text messages application.
- Enter your application tracking ID and send it to 8400.
You will receive a reply to your text message from NADRA with all the details regarding the status of your application for CNIC.
