RAWALPINDI: Before the start of the Test series against Australia, national cricket team captain Babar Azam has revealed that league spinner Yasir Shah is still not fully fit and he is still facing fitness issues.
In a virtual press conference with the media, the captain of the national cricket team Babar Azam said that league spinner Yasir Shah will play a key role in the series against Australia but he is not fully fit and his injury has not been completely cured.
Babar Azam said that Yasir Shah is part of the squad as a reserve player but he has not played any match for the last two months for which he is working hard.
The captain of the national cricket team added that Yasir Shah is an important weapon of Pakistan against any team and we want to use him to the fullest in the home series against Australia.
It should be noted that the historic Test series between Pakistan and Australia has started from Thursday at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
